Jeff Evans Will Speak for National Retailer in Colorado

jeffevanshead-shot-007.jpgBrooks International has helped to schedule motivational speaker Jeff Evans to give a 60 minute keynote in Breckenridge, Colorado for a National Retailer. Everyone involved is very excited about Jeff’s upcoming speech.

“Jeff Evans grew up in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia where a sense of adventure and curiosity was cultivated early on, carrying Jeff around the globe in search of challenge and discovery. ”

“Having established himself as one of the nation’s most respected mountaineering guides, as well as a highly sought after motivational speaker, Jeff’s phenomenal story incorporates many stunning images from his global adventures. As the primary climbing guide for blind climber, Erik Weihenmayer, he tells of the hard work and exceptional communication skills necessary to allow them to achieve seemingly impossible feats by guiding Erik successfully to the tops of mountains all over the world, including the summit of Mt Everest.”

“Whether hanging from a helicopter on a dangerous search and rescue mission to save stranded climbers, or guiding the Duchess of York up a rock face, Jeff has achieved success on every level and brings his lessons to the corporate world. Drawing on many of the metaphors hidden in the world of adventure and bringing them to his audience in a humorously inspiring way, Jeff’s messages are potent and tactile. He demonstrates how critical it is to focus on detail, embrace small successes, and disregard the expectations others create in order to achieve your own potential.”

“Jeff has been featured on The Today Show, CNN Live, Nightline, ESPN, and Good Morning America, as well as in such publications as Time, Outside, Climbing, and Trail Runner Magazines. Jeff is also a main character in the outstanding documentary, Farther Than the Eye Can See, directed by award winning filmmaker Michael Brown. Nominated for two Sports Emmy Awards, this film lends an intimate look inside that historical ascent of Mt. Everest by a blind climber.”

“As the audience is captivated by Jeff’s rich storytelling style, his power themes of Leadership, Teamwork and Commitment are effortlessly infused. His goal is to inspire and motivate listeners to believe in themselves and their ability to accomplish the impossible, be willing to risk failure in order to achieve success, and move toward their goals well prepared and ready for the challenge.”

Greg’s ready to bring his custom brand of business humor and motivational speaking to your next event. Clients such as IBM, Motorola, McDonald’s, Siemens, Radio Shack, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Verizon Wireless and Sprint PCS have invited Greg to share his hilarious views on technology and today’s business environment. MultiFamily Executive Magazine said his performance was “one of the funniest they had ever witnessed.”

“Greg delivers with observations on topics such as technical support lines, monotonous business meetings, acronyms, “frequently” asked questions, e-commerce, cell phone addiction and that annoying guy in every office who always sends two word e-mails! By the end of Greg’s show, you’ll see how “efficient” tools are actually rendering us inefficient. More importantly, your employees will leave feeling motivated and willing to chuckle when technology rears its ugly head in the workplace!”

“Unlike many humorous speakers, Greg researches every audience and customizes material so no two shows are alike! Combining inoffensive comedy with lightning fast ad-lib skills, Greg takes his audiences on hilarious tours through their work environments.”

“A former NBC television reporter, Greg has numerous national television appearances to his credit and has shared the concert stage with the likes of Celine Dion, Jay Leno and LeAnn Rimes. Howard Putnam Will Speak for a Denver Business Association

putnam-pic.jpgKeynote speaker, Howard Putnam is scheduled to give a 90 minute speech for a Denver Business Association’s Annual Conference in Denver, Colorado. There will be over 700 executives and professionals in the audience focused on corporate growth at this impressive conference. This Denver Business Association is a premier association for and about professionals involved in corporate growth, corporate development and mergers and acquisitions. With outstanding speakers such as Howard Putnam involved, the conference will deliver engaging content about all aspects of organic growth.

“As the former CEO of Southwest and Braniff Airlines, Howard Putnam is a veteran of one of the most volatile industries in today’s business world. He played an essential role in developing Southwest into the only airline to produce a profit in every quarter over the course of 25 years. He was also successful in leading Braniff International through the rigors of a Chapter 11 bankruptcy. This experience provides the foundation of Putnam’s work as a keynote speaker, author, and consultant. In these roles, and as summarized in his book, “The Winds of Turbulence,” he shares his insights into such essential corporate concerns as leadership, customer service, change and transformation, crisis management, and ethics. His personal story is exemplary, too. He grew up on a farm in Iowa, where he first learned to fly in his father’s old Piper Cub. He entered the airline business at the bottom, as a baggage handler at Midway Airport, in Chicago, and rose to the highest levels of the industry. The energy and warmth of those early years on the farm come through in his presentations, which now reflect the knowledge, experience, and wisdom of a distinguished business professional. “

“Howard Putnam is the former CEO of Southwest and Braniff Airlines and Group VP Marketing for United Airlines. Howard is a business and motivational speaker, author, consultant, commentator, and online mentor on Leadership, Customer Service, Change, Transformation and Ethics.”

“Today, he is also Co-founder and Chairman in 1998 of AIR, Aircraft Interior Resources in Houston.”

Devon Harris Will Speak for Pepperidge Farms

devon_harris.jpgDevon Harris will give an inspiring 60 minute keynote speech to school-age children and faculty of a school that will concentrate on health, nutrition, and exercise. The main objective of this event is to promote healthy eating, exercise, and an overall healthy lifestyle. The school that Devon will be speaking to won an award and that award included Devon’s keynote address. Pepperidge Farms is sponsoring this wonderful event and everyone involved is extremely excited.

“From the slums of Kingston, Jamaica to the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst, England; from a barefoot boy’s dream of winning a track race to a young man’s membership on his country’s first Olympic bobsled team, Devon’s inspiring tale of personal triumph over adversity and the uplifting story behind Jamaica’s first Winter Olympic team will captivate your audience.”

“So engaging was the story of the misfit band of athletes from the tropical island of Jamaica at the 1988 Winter Olympic Games, that it served as the basis for the hit Disney movie, “Cool Runnings.” While the movie captured the heart and soul of a team that didn’t know the meaning of the word “impossible,” the personal story of Devon Harris is a testament of one man’s refusal to accept the limitations placed on him by birth or society.”

“Born on Christmas Day 1964, the greatest gift Devon ever received was the belief that a positive attitude and a “never−say−die” philosophy would carry him farther than a sense of injustice and a heart filled with anger. Devon also learned at an early age that one can either spill tears of laughter or tears of rage when faced with life’s many obstacles.”

“When not bringing his captivating message of inspiration and hope to audiences across the globe, Devon serves as an ambassador for Right to Play, an athlete−driven, humanitarian nonprofit organization using sport and play to enhance child development and build community capacity for youth in refugee camps and disadvantaged communities throughout the world.”

AC Green Gives Dynamic Keynote for Fundraiser Banquet

ac.jpgAC Green delivered a wonderful keynote address for an organization’s Annual Fundraiser Banquet whose goal is to reduce homelessness. In addition, AC graciously did a Meet and Greet and signed autographs for the audience which consisted of over 500 business luminaries. The fundraiser was a huge success and AC brought great energy and charisma to the event.

“On November 20, 1997, A.C. Green (Forward for the Los Angeles Lakers) became the NBA’s new Iron Man. By breaking the all-time “most consecutive games by an NBA player” (907 consecutive games), Green has become the NBA version of baseball’s Cal Ripken, Jr.

“Playing through injury and illness, Green’s dedication, determination and consistency have proven him to be one of the hardest working players in the NBA. His “never give up” attitude was demonstrated in a nationally televised game against New York. When going for a rebound, J.R. Reid threw a vicious elbow and knocked his teeth out. Instead of retaliating, and without missing a beat, Green simply picked up his teeth and continued to play with his teeth in hand until time-out was called.”

“A.C. Green has won three NBA Championship rings (1987, 1988, 2000), and has appeared in five NBA Finals (all with the Lakers). In February of 1996, Green scored his 10,000th career point making him one of 10 active players to reach 10,000 points and 7,000 rebounds.”

“In addition to his athletic ability, A.C. Green has shown tremendous commitment to the community. His heart is dedicated to working with youth, which led him to start the A.C. Green Youth Foundation to help young people build self-esteem, character, and to teach moral and ethical principles in order to help them make responsible decisions.”
